Please note that all NEW participants to The Launch Pad are required to come in for a Camper Screening Appt prior to the start of the summer camp.
*All participants must be capable of riding a bicycle for some distance.
*Charge of $175 for the 50 minute screener appointment applies.
Camp Cost:
$1,100 per week*
* Note: Some reduced fee spots available
What To Bring:
Dress in comfortable clothing, suitable for outdoor activities (quick-dry material Rec).
Swimming attire
Please wear closed-toed shoes & Sunscreen
Backpack with Lunch & water bottle, each day
Campers may provide their own bikes if they wish. Some Launch Pad bikes are available to borrow. All Campers must be able to ride a bike proficiently.
Adventure Therapy Waiver (provided to you during intake)
ABOUT OUR CAMPS!
The Launch Pad ATL is excited to announce the launch of our summer adventure therapy camps for adolescents & teens! These summer adventure - therapy camps will foster their ability to cultivate healthy peer relationships, better regulate their impulses & emotions, and develop resilience as they challenge themselves mentally & physically. Our office is conveniently located along Piedmont Park and The Atlanta Beltline. We will utilize these outdoor spaces and others daily for a truly unique camp experience.
These camps will emphasize developing healthy peer relationships, strengthening communication skills, and building self-esteem. Mindfulness and resiliency skills will be taught and practiced throughout the camp experience. Participants will engage in a wide variety of outdoor adventures and practice new skills in real life scenarios.
Camp DATEs:
June 2 - June 6th (Ages: 11-12yrs*)
June 9 - June 13 (Ages: 13-15yrs*)
June 16 - June 20 (Ages: 13-15yrs*)
(*Age grouping determined after screening appt)
Camp Runs Daily M-F 9:30a - 3:00p

ATL Parks & Outdoor Destinations: Piedmont Park, Candler Park, Grant Park, Centennial Park, Morgan Falls Overlook, Stone Mountain, Arabia Mountain, Sweetwater Creek, Boat Rock, Chattahoochee River.
Activities may include: Biking, Swimming, Hiking, Slack-lining, Disc Golf, Rafting, Ropes Courses, Rock Climbing, Cliff Jumping, Longboarding & More!

Mindfulness Matters – Learn how to practice mindfulness in everyday situations to improve focus, enhance self-awareness, reduce impulsivity and make better decisions.
Self-Esteem - Gaining confidence in yourself & among your peers
