Chris Goodson

Chris is a dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counselor earning a Master’s degree from Mercer University in 2014. His personal experience growing up with ADHD has shaped his empathetic approach to therapy, as he knows the importance of understanding one’s unique strengths and challenges.
Chris specializes in helping adolescents and young adults navigate life’s transitions. He works extensively with clients dealing with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. His holistic approach also includes supporting families, fostering better understanding and communication.
A firm believer in the therapeutic power of nature, Chris loves incorporating the outdoors into the therapeutic process. He uses practical techniques to help clients make sense of their thoughts and emotions, often integrating nature-based activities to enhance healing and self-discovery.
His diverse career has included roles in hospital settings, wrap-around services, intensive outpatient programs, and nationwide therapeutic consulting.
When he’s not working, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. His ADHD drives a passion for collecting hobbies, giving him a wide range of interests and experiences to draw from in his practice.
